Obituary
Mary 'Maureen' Cahill Age 83 passed away May 25th from cancer. Dear sister of Fr. Donald, David (Ruth), Rita Lamanna and Ethel. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews and extended family members. Preceded in death by her parents Thomas V. and Mary Cahill and siblings Thomas (Joan Ann) Cahill , Joan Cahill and brother-in-law James Lamanna.
She was graduate of Holy Redeemer High School and worked many years at Cadillac Motor Co. She spent her retirement years living her Catholic faith that was shown in her love and caring for grand nieces and nephews. She also volunteered at Oakwood Hospital. Special appreciation is extended to the staff at Angela Hospice for all the kindness and comfort that was given to Maureen and family members.
In state Friday 10am followed by the 11am Funeral Mass at St. Kateri Catholic Church 16101 Rotunda Dr., Dearborn.
Family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
