Mary Ellen Klask. Age 82. Passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024. Beloved Wife of the late Marvin Klask and the late John Bolger. Loving mother to Kevin (Maria) Bolger, John (Srujana) Bolger, Gregory (Patricia) Klask, Theresa (John) Betori, and Andrea Blizman. Cherished Grandmother to Megan, Kyle, Matthew, Jack, Rachel, Lexi, Stephanie, Kimberly (Michael), Caitlin, Ethan, Anthony, Joseph, Vincent, Jacob, Emily, and one great granddaughter Alice. Dear sister of John Pié and the late Paul Pié III. Daughter of the late Paul and Teresa Pié.

Mary Ellen was an avid reader and writer. Mary Ellen was very dedicated to her faith and a long-time member of the community of Gods Mercy.She was very passionate about her work at Mary Grove College and the University of Detroit.


Visitation will be Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home starting at 2:00p.m. until the time of Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue until 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Divine Child Catholic Church, instate 12:00 Noon with mass following at 12:30 p.m.
