Age 85

Beloved wife of Thomas. Dear mother of Michael (Catherine), Margaret (Mark) Purdy, John (Eve), Rita (Terry) Dachs, Carmen (Kenneth) Koch and the late Theresa. Loving grandmother of Jessica (Matthew) Domako, Hannah (Charles Tully) Sanday, Alexander Dachs, Thomas (Jaclyn) Sanday, Jennifer Muscat, Sarah (Mathew) Nisbett, Elizabeth Dachs, Nicholas (Shannon) Koch and Maria Koch (Dylan Babcock). Great grandmother of Arianna, Anthony, Zavier and Martha. Predeceased by her grandson Ben. Sister of Josephine Kubert and the late Joseph Sant. She will also be missed by her step grandchildren, Amelia (Andrew) Ketchum and Alexandra (Carl Hall) Purdy.

Mary was a registered nurse and retired from Garden City Hospital after many years. She was an avid gardener and a member of the Dearborn Heights Garden Club. Mary took pride in her gardens and loved her flowers. She was an avid reader of books and newspapers. Along with doing the daily crossword puzzle she enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer. Mary was a retired nurse and always helped others. She loved connecting with her friends at their pinochle games and lunches. Mary and her husband loved to travel and have explored many destinations together. She always put other people's needs before herself and didn't complain even when she was hurting. Above all, Mary loved her family wholeheartedly, especially her true love for 63 years.

Visitation Saturday 2 pm – 8 pm with a 7:00 pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City. In state Monday 9:30 am until the 10 am Funeral Service at Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N. Silvery Lane at Wilson in Dearborn.
