Age 84

Mary passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 12, 2021. She was a beloved daughter, partner, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Mary found comfort in her faith in Christ and the angels that surrounded her. She was very blessed. Mary influenced our lives beyond words and will be remembered for her thoughtfulness, generosity, and loving support. Her influence will remain in our hearts forever. She is survived by her brother William R. (Patricia nee: Dolan) Ricks. She was an extraordinary aunt to their three children, Jason (Debbie) Ricks, Sarah (Brian) Hart, Julie Ricks (Yona Cloonan) and their children.

She loved to travel with her life partner of over 53 years, Catherine Tonn, visiting Columbia, Germany and many places throughout the U.S. They spent many years camping in Northern Michigan and vacationing in Key West. Mary was also an Arthur Murray dancing instructor, enjoying dancing whenever the opportunity arose. Mary was a dedicated worker at LECMPA for over 50 years, holding many different jobs and making endless memories. She was preceded in death by her parents, William A. (Catherine M.(nee: Mercurio)) Ricks, her life partner Catherine Tonn, and several aunts, and uncles. We love and miss her dearly.

Visitation Saturday, October 9, 2021, 11 am until the 1 pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.
