Obituary

Age 95.

Beloved wife of the late Emmanuel. Dear mother of John (Druscilla) and Marianne (Lee) Camilleri, and her never forgotten late Lucy (who passed at the age of eighteen months).Grandma to Laura, Gregory, and Shelley. Great grandmother (Buznanna) to Wyatt. Great grandmother (Nana) to Sarah & Christopher. Also, leaving behind numerous nieces and nephews belonging to her late seven brothers and one sister.

Mary always told her family not to trust anyone; yet, she trusted everyone! She earned the nickname, Smiley, because of her friendly demeanor; given to her at the Detroit Free Press where she worked for seventeen years.

Visitation Wednesday 2-7pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). In State Thursday 10am until the 10:30am Funeral Mass at St. Thomas a'Becket Catholic Church, 555 S. Lilley Rd., Canton, (west of Haggerty at Cherry Hill).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
