Age 85

Beloved wife of the late Lee. Dear mother of Kurt (Stacey) and Mark. Grandmother of Kegan and Lauren. Great grandmother of Melodie. Sister of John P. Keith.

Mary Jane was born in Charleston, Maine to Philip and Evelyn Keith. Her favorite holiday was the Fourth of July, the celebration of our country and of course fireworks. She and Lee worked at the 1996 Olympics as part of the medical team. She was an avid golfer and tennis player. While she was passionate about tending to her roses, she was an avid gardener who enjoyed the beauty and freedom of butterflies.

She was active in all things Garden City; school board, DDA, city council, mayor pro-tem, the Garden club and of course the Garden City Library. Mary Jane and Lee were some of the prominent founders of the Garden City Historical Museum at the Straight Farm House. She was engaged in politics at the local and state level and was a huge proponent of women's rights.
