Mary C. Wing, age 89, June 29, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Robert. Dear mother of Cathy (Bill) Homuth, Patrick (Tina), Timothy (Karen), James (Dyann), Thomas (Linda) and Michael (Jane). Loving grandmother of Danielle, Brian, Adam, Casey, Ayla, Noah and Meghan. Sister-in-law of Betty Hunter. Army nurse, D-Day veteran, WWII. Member of the 39th Field Hospital. She was a founding member of St Mel's Parish and active sports fan. She loved boat rides, spending the winter in Arizona and movies with her friends. She loved telling stories to her grandchildren about life and World War II.

Visitation Thursday (July 1, 2010) 3-9pm with a 7pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd. (bet. Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill). In state Friday (July 2, 2010) 9:30am until a 10am Mass at St. Mel Catholic Church, 7506 Inkster Road (just north of Warren). Family suggests donations be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeves Paralysis Foundation.
