Age 89

Meta passed away into her heavenly home May 22, 2018.  Beloved wife of the late Joseph.  Dear sister and friend of Erna Heck.  Preceded in death by siblings Martha, Gustav, Alfred and Erich.  Loving aunt of 12.  Great aunt to many.  She leaves behind her beloved cat, Goldy.

She was a long-time faithful member of Fair Haven Assembly of God.  Meta will be sorely missed by numerous friends.  She retired from General Motors after 30 years of dedicated service.  Gardening was her passion and she generously shared the bounty of her garden.  She was an avid animal lover and the birds will miss their daily feeding.

Visitation Friday 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.  In state Saturday 9:00 AM followed by the 10:00 AM Funeral Service at Fair Haven Assembly of God, 876 Beech Daly, Dearborn Heights (between Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill).

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to the Michigan Human Society.
