Metro "Mac" Sokolik Age 92

Beloved husband of the late Olga for 50 years. Dear father of Gregory (Debra), Sharon (Mark) Jones, Susan (Michael) Selonke, Mary (Steven) Dater and John. Loving and adored grandfather of Lauren and Paul Sokolik, Justin (Megan) Jones, Mandi (Dirk) Burken, Christina Jones, Jeffrey and Joseph Selonke, Stephanie, Scott and Samuel Dater, Allen & Andrew Sokolik.

Mac was a barber for over 50 years and a longtime resident of Dearborn Heights. He was a devoted member of St. Linus Catholic Church, active in the Men's Club and serving as an usher. Mac was an active and long time member of the Lions Club, Thomas Dooley K of C, and Divine Child Men's Club.

Visitation Thursday 2-8pm with a 7pm Evening Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City(Between Ford Rd. & Cherry Hill). In state Friday 10 am followed by the 10:30am Funeral Mass at St. Linus Catholic Church, 25500 Hass, Dearborn Heights (between Ford & Warren, west of Gulley).
