Obituary
Age 82.
Beloved husband of Marilyn for 58 wonderful years. Cherished father of Marla (John) Bingham-Melcher, Kevin (April), and the late Lora. Respected grandfather of Finn and Nate. Dear brother of Sue (Jere) Herr, Patricia, Sara (Ken) VanPortfliet, Thomas, and the late John. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Cremation took place privately.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, with Visitation from 1pm until the 2pm Service at Rosedale Gardens Presbyterian Church, 9601 Hubbard Street, Livonia (at West Chicago, west of Merriman Road). A full lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to Karmanos Cancer Institute or Scouting America Michigan Crossroads Council.
