Murray St. Andrew, age 85, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022.He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth St. Andrew.He was the loving father of Tina (the late Leo) Pronovost, Timothy (Terri) St. Andrew, and Mark (Michelle) St. Andrew.He was the cherished grandfather of Timothy (Bernadette) St. Andrew, Jeffrey (Nicole) St. Andrew, Kathryn (Sarah) Saint, Melissa and Ryan Pronovost, and James St. Andrew.He was the dearest brother of the late Charles St. Andre and Bradley St. Andrew, and sisters Shirley Yert and Dorothy Stickel.Murray enjoyed the outdoors.In his prime, he would wake up, have his cup of coffee and head out on a long bike ride through his neighborhood.He loved his bikes and also enjoyed repairing them in his backyard.On sunny days, Murray and Betty enjoyed sitting on their front porch, always saying hi to the neighbors passing by.He was very proud of his yard - making sure the grass was cut evenly and the bushes trimmed at the right height exactly to the top of the porch railing.He enjoyed watching the Tigers and Pistons play when the games were broadcasted on tv.Murray was well known for carrying his Hungarian hot peppers in his shirt pocket and always had a nice cold Old Milwaukee Light beer.Years ago, Murray was a car fanatic.His Riveria, Tornado, and Eldorado were his prized possessions.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home. Instate 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 3965 Merrick Street, Dearborn Heights, Michigan 48125 until the time of Mass at 10:00 a.m.
