Age 70

Nancy, a loving sister, aunt and friend passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 surrounded by family and friends. Nancy was born on April 23, 1950.

Nancy made the Detroit area her home all her life. She spent most of her career at Ford Motor Company. She was an avid Tiger fan and loved going to games. She enjoyed the Casinos and the many restaurants in Greektown, but never hesitated to cross the bridge and shop, eat and gamble in Windsor. As a devoted aunt, Nancy loved to indulge her many nieces and nephews with toys (mostly noisy ones), candy, ice cream and trips, leaving them with countless memories of fun and laughter. An avid dog lover, she cherished her many dogs and took great joy in showing her champion Old English Sheepdog, Heidi. Nancy had an infectious, adventurous spirit and enjoyed travels to several countries around the world, especially her trip to the Orient and many trips to Las Vegas with friends.

She is survived by her sister Shirley Roudebush, brother Clifford (Jackie) Askren, nieces Kelly (Michael) Krausz, Julie Luark, and Stacy Shultz, nephews Steven (Katherine) Shultz, and Scott Askren and longtime best friend Dorinda Boyer. Preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Delphena Askren, sister and brother-in-law Carole and John Shultz and brother-in-law Bill Roudebush.
