IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nathan 'Nate'
Goff
September 3, 2003 – February 29, 2024
Nathan Patrick Goff passed away very unexpectedly on Thursday February 29, 2024. He was born on September 3, 2003, in Dearborn Michigan to Jacob Harlin and Andrea Goff. They resided together in Taylor until 2004, when he moved with his mom to be with family in West Virginia. In 2009, he moved in with his father and his family in Tennessee. In 2014, he moved back to Michigan with his father and second mom. He attended L'anse Creuse High School where he was on the freshman basketball team. At the time of his passing, he lived with his girlfriend and her family in Harrison Township.
He worked at a few different fast-food restaurants, including McDonald's and Little Caesars. He loved basketball. His favorite player was Stephen Curry. He loved football and he attended many Lions games where he always wore his Golden Tate III jersey. He enjoyed playing video games with his family and friends. He had a beautiful baritone voice. He loved Brad Paisley. Nathan had a way of making everyone in his life feel like they were special. We truly believe he was able to sense the goodness in anyone he encountered. He always found a way to be happy and tried to bring joy to everyone he met.
He is survived by his parents Jacob and Gail Harlin, and Andrea and Johnny Smith, his brothers Skyler Graham and Remington Martin, his grandparents Loretta VerHeule, Naomi and Larry Farly and Deanna Richards, his aunt and uncles, Lynn and Josh Gibbs, Michael VerHeule and Brian Scala, his great aunt Brenda Temple and his God Parents Peter and Ashley Kocovski.
Nathan had many, many people who loved him. He will be incredibly missed. It has been said that when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. He will forever be our treasure. Never forgotten, always with us all.
