Age 86

Beloved husband of Doris L., and the late Janice C. Loving Father of Kimberly (Kurt) Canzoneri and Debra (Chris) Garza. Cherished Grandfather of Andrea Williamson, Kamron Canzoneri, Julie (Mark) Suller, Kendra (Nick) Fenner and Great-Grandfather of Mark and Lydia. Neil also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, close family members and friends who dearly loved him. Neil is also survived by his extended family..Step-sons Michael (Nadine) Makowski, Jerry (Carol) Makowski and Mitchell Makowski (Dan Forbes); Step-Grandchildren are Teresa (Craig), Brenda (Corey); Stepfanie (Dustin), Mike and Kristen. Step-Great-Grandfather of Daniel, Jodi, Corey, Brandon, Nolan, and Eliza. Step-Great-Great-Grandfather of Milah, Lily, and Cali.

Neil served in the Army as a Military Police Officer. He worked for Ford Motor Co. as an Engineer and retired after 31 years. He then moved to Gaylord, Alabama and his final years were spent here Canton, Michigan, near family.

Neil loved golf, hockey, baseball, and spending time with family. He was best known for his wonderful sense of humor and his gift of gab. He will truly be missed by all.

Memorial Visitation Thursday, July 28 ^th , 1:00 pm followed by a 3:00 pm Memorial Service at the John N. Santeiu and Son Funeral Home.
