Palmer Franklin Craven, born to Franklin Yancy and Dona Craven in N. Wilkesboro, North Carolina on November 2, 1919. He served in the United States Navy during WWII on the USS New York and retired from the Cadillac Motor Company. Palmer passed away with his family at his side on June 6, 2013(D Day).

Proceeding him in death were his wife Rose Craven (nee: Aranosian) and sons Barry and Billy Craven. Palmer was survived by his children, Edward Palmer (Tina), Pamela (Michael) Hare, Debbie (Tino) Barrera, Cynthia (Jerry) Harrington and Julie (Jamie) Sims. Also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A good Southern Gentleman who will be dearly missed by all.

Visitation Sunday 2-8pm. Funeral service Monday 11:30am at the John N. Santeiu & Son funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City (Between Ford Rd. & Cherry Hill). Family suggests memorials to Michigan Hospice.
