Patricia Jean Manning, age 91, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026. Patricia was born in Cheboygan, Michigan on March 12, 1935, to William and Nina (Socha) Woiderski, being the oldest daughter of fourteen children. She was raised on her family's farm, which included the Inverness Dairy, and graduated from Cheboygan High School in 1953. Later that year, she married Marvin Manning, also of Cheboygan, her beloved husband for 70 years, who passed away in January, 2024. In 1960, they settled in Dearborn Heights to raise their own family. Patricia was famously devoted to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and a great lover of her gardens, flowers, birds and wildlife.
Patricia was the dear mother of Dan (Janet), Sue (Paul) Klebba, Don (Cammy), and Nancy (Daniel) Anthony. Also, the loving grandmother of Kelly (Matthew) Leinonen, Kevin (Jessica) Manning, Erin (Mark) Mouland, Andrew Klebba, Evan (Sierra) Manning, Stefan Manning, Clayton (Moira) Manning, Sarah (Matthew) Korona, and Shelby (Kevin Thornton. Patricia was also the great grandmother of Chase, Lincoln, Owen L, Maya, Henry, Lucy, Owen M, Jackson, Ainsley, Reagan, Gabriel and Chloe. She will be dearly missed by many extended family members, neighbors and friends.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents (William and Nina Woiderski), her husband (Marvin Manning), two brothers (William Woiderski and Steven Woiderski), four sisters (Nancy Stilgenbauer, Sally Kennedy, Diane Greenwood and Elaine Woiderski in infancy).
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Road (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill Road) in Garden City. Burial will take place at a later date at Oakhill Cemetery in Cheboygan, MI.
