Age 88

Pat was born on April 7, 1936 in Dearborn Heights, Michigan to Hoke and Julia (nee Bowdoin) Davis.  Pat met the love of her life and beloved husband of 68 years Terry L. McGinty while in high school. Pat was known for her strong will, her unwavering love and support for her family and friends, and her history of being a three-time cancer survivor.

She was a devout member of His Church Anglican in Livonia, Michigan. Pat was a manager at Michigan Bell Telephone Company and retired from Ameritech in 1991 after many years of dedicated service.

Pat is preceded in joining the Lord by her mother and father, Julia and Hoke Davis, her sister, Barbara Davis, her brother, Thomas Davis, and her in-laws Evan and Gail McGinty. She is survived by her husband, Terry L. McGinty, her son, Sean (Gayle) and her daughter, Erin (Robert) Dempsey, sister-in-law, Sandy Davis, grandchildren Matthew, Shannon, Julia, and Ryan, and great-grandchildren Maeve, Marie, Nolan, and Claire.

Visitation Sunday 4-7pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). In State Monday 10 am until the 11am Funeral Service at His Church Anglican, 34500 Six Mile Road, Livonia (west of Farmington Rd.).

A lunch will be held in Pat's honor at the church immediately following the service. Burial will take place following at Parkview Memorial Gardens.
