Patrick Joseph Renaud, 97,died Saturday, September 5, 2020.He was born March 14, 1923 to Clyde and Marie Renaud of Windsor, Ontario.

He married Marjorie Esper of Dearborn on February 9, 1946. She died September 13, 1959. He married Joy Zeller August 5, 1978. She died April 17, 2020.

He is survived by his children, Judy Boyle of Southfield, Mark (Patricia) Renaud of Kalamazoo and Mary Jo Olmstead of Fort Gratiot; grandchildren, Michelle (Victor) Wooddell of Southfield, Joanna (Paul Stevens) Olmstead of Port Huron and Eric (Becky Holm) Olmstead of Midland; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Charron of Windsor. He is also survived by stepchildren Debbie (Ralph) Bint of Livonia and Janis (Randy) Kindlinger of Plymouth, six step grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by siblings, Sister Mary Phyllis Renaud, SSJ, of London, Ontario and James Renaud of Windsor and stepdaughter, Lori Addington.

Patrick proudly served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II, as a rear gunner in a Lancaster bomber. An avid golfer into his 90s, he enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and visiting Motor City Casino.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dearborn, after the U.S./Canada border has reopened.
