Phyllis Rae DiMauro, 81, of North Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on May 17, 2023, after a series of illnesses.

Phyllis was born on Sept 13, 1941, to Okey & Rosetta Vipperman in Belfry, Kentucky.

In 1959, Phyllis married her first husband Ralph Lee Ball in Pikeville, Kentucky, then moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan where she had two daughters, Patricia Ann Harrison, and Donna Leigh DeFrank. In 1979 she married her second husband Michael DiMauro and then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1982.

She worked at the General Motors Hydra-Matic plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan, until she left in 1979. She loved her crafts and bowling and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Phyllis was predeceased by her husband Michael DiMauro, stepson Robert DiMauro, father Okey Vipperman, Mother Rosetta Vipperman, Sister's Alma Burgess, Jeanette Farley, Joan Church, and Nancy Marchant.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia (Tom) Harrison and Donna (Larry) DeFrank along with 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Visitation Wednesday, May 31 ^st 2 pm – 7 pm. Funeral Service Thursday, June 1 ^st , 11:30 am at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home in Garden City, Burial to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens West in Westland.

Donations in Phyllis's name may be made to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. As she was a breast cancer survivor herself, she felt strongly about this organization.
