Age 67.  Passed away suddenly.

Preceded in death by his parents, C. Harold and Shirley Rimmel.  Brother of Darlene (James) McLaughlin, Michael (Cynthia) Rimmel, Bruce, James, Sheila (Duane) Tarnacki, and Diana (Dave) Patterson.  Beloved uncle of twelve nieces and nephews.

Graduate of the former Cherry Hill High School, class of 1977.  Richard worked as a machinist for many years.  He loved spending time at his property up north with his brothers and friends, laughing and telling stories around the campfire.  He took great pride in renovating homes with his brothers, long before the hobby became popularized by HGTV.  Richard will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

Memorial visitation Sunday, September 14 from 1-5 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City (Between Ford and Cherry Hill).
