Obituary

Age 25.

Rocco passed away peacefully at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia surrounded by loved ones. Loving son of Dionne (Jodi) and Frank. Beloved Grandson of the late Joseph & Phyllis Ciaramitaro and Sharon Randazzo. Cherished nephew of Lisa Pisano, James Ciaramitaro, Marie Vaughan, and Polly (Jay) Walker. Dearest cousin of Adrianna, Darian, Amber, Alex, Jason, Danny, and Suzanna. He was very dearly loved and will be deeply missed by many family members and friends, especially Spencer, Jared, Dan, Garrett, Neil, and Brad. Great grandson of the late Tressie Fairfield and Pauline DeNardo.  He will be deeply missed by his dogs, Rambo, Lola 'Miss Chicas', Zenee, and Rue. He missed his deceased pets, DeLanee, Dora, ChaCha, Gizmo, Louie and Bambi.

Rocco graduated from Franklin High School in 2016. He excelled in school, 7-12 grade with all A's. He played football his freshman year and was a member of the wrestling team. He was in the Honor Society, was a mentor, and also a member of Student Congress. He received a scholarship from the Arts Honor Society and attended Wayne State University with a Major in Engineering.

Rocco was a well read individual and loved reading books about geniuses. He had interests in mathematics, physics, as well as, neuroscience. He loved all music genres. His favorite music was The Doors, Jeff Beck, Tom Petty, Pink Floyd, Elton John, Jimi Hendricks, Queen, Jack White, and many others from the 70's. He also played the guitar, keyboards and drums.

He did some solo travels to South America and also traveled to favorite cities like, Los Angeles, Boston, and New York.

He had a love of art and his own art showed his vast creativity. He loved going to the Detroit Institute of Art. He had a love of leading a lifestyle which included cooking and meditation.

He loved his dogs and cat and enjoyed helping his mom at the kennel, Paws-N-Wiskers Resort.

Rocco touched the lives of many people with his sense of humor, kindness, and free spirit. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and always challenging them with a problem to solve or trivia questions.

Visitation Saturday, October 05, 2024 2pm until the 7pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).

Family suggests donations to National Alliance of Mental Illness (N.A.M.I.) or Michigan Humane .
