Rolf John Kvamme. Age 87 of Dearborn Heights passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday January 15, 2019. Rolf is survived by his wife Rosemary, son Andy Kvamme (Diane), daughter Shannon Hawkes (Terry), and grandchildren Kathryn Hawkes, Daniel Kvamme, Shannon Cunningham, and Rob Mryncza, as well as great-grandchildren Izleigh Mars, Julian Cunningham, and Dominic Cunningham. He is preceded by his son John-Wesley Kvamme. Rolf retired from Ford Motor Company, and spent his time bowling, golfing, and with family. He was also an avid motorcycle rider, and enjoyed travelling to visit friends and family in New Mexico. Rolf was a brilliant man who could be described by the phrase "Have more than you show, speak less than you know." He is greatly missed and deeply loved. His visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., with funeral services Friday at Mount Hope Lutheran Church, 5323 Southfield Rd., Allen Park MI 48101, Instate 10:00 a.m. with the service starting at 10:30 a.m.
