On July 18, 2018, Ron won his battle with cancer. He was 66. His voice can be heard as he walks with the Lord.  Ron was the longtime owner of Ron's Clean Sweep Janitorial Service.  He was proceeded in death by his father Richard Pooley, mother Ethel Pooley, and brothers Richard and Randy Pooley.  Ron is survived by brothers Robert and Raymond Pooley and sister Virginia Drews as well as stepsons Billy and Steven Vermilyea, who he thinks of as his own sons.

Visitation Friday from 9 am until time of funeral service at 11 am at Good Hope Lutheran Church, 28680 Cherry Hill Rd., Garden City (East of Middlebelt).
