Rose M. Doren died on March 3, 2014. She was 91. Born Rose Madelyn Hobel on August 27, 1922 in Rossford, Ohio, Rose was raised during the Great Depression in
Wyandotte, Michigan.!

During World War II she worked at the Ford Willow Run bomber plant and while her brother Johnny was on furlough was introduced to her future husband, William Peter
Doren. They married after the war on May 18, 1946.!

Rose and Pete had 3 children who with their spouses survive and mourn the loss of their mother. W. Peter and Karen Mauro-Doren, Brian and Dianne Doren, and Nancy
and Michael Chase. They had 8 grandchildren who survive and mourn the loss of their grandmother. Rachel Davies (Rob), Andrew Doren (Natalie), Dr. Mark Chase (Mary),
Joseph Doren (Kimberly), Charles Doren (Elizabeth), John Chase (Elizabeth), Emily Doren and Thomas Chase. They had 3 great-grandchildren who survive and will miss the comforting presence of Grandma Rose. Collin McCormick Davies, Caitlin Rose Davies and Ella Grace Doren.!

She was preceded in death by her husband and all her brothers and sisters; Joseph, Vincent, Michael, Steven, Robert and John Hobel, Mary Jagiello, and Frances Michaleck.!

She enjoyed life and touched everyone she met with her sense of humor and optimistic outlook. She will be missed.!

In state Thursday 9am followed by the 10am Funeral Service at at Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N. Silvery Lane at Wilson in Dearborn.
