Rose Grondziak Age 102, of Dearborn Heights, longtime member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, Dearborn Hts., and its Senior Citizens Club and Altar Society, died May 3, 2012.

Rose is the beloved wife of the late Lawrence (d. 1976); loving mother of Lawrence Jr. (the late Altha), Elaine (Donald) Romanski and Patricia (the late Bill) Tripp; cherished grandmother of Sandy (Dale) Matthis, Linda (Mike) Gordon, Marcie (Jeff) Webster, Dean (Connie) Romanski, Gale (Rick) Loftus, David (Christine) Romanski, Dennis Romanski, Duane (Gina) Romanksi, Bill (Michelle) Tripp, Ron (Ruthie) Tripp, and Gary (Sandy) Tripp; and great grandmother of Amber, Duane Jr., Dylan, Jake, Claire, Heather, Vince, Madelyn, Seth, Daniel, Jennifer, Ashley, Katherine, Alex, Brian, Kristin, Andrew, Robert, Olivia, Alexis, Stephanie, Kirsten, Cameron, Sojourner, Emily, Lizzy, Brittany, and Natalie.In addition to her husband, daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Rose was preceded in death by two grandsons, Duane (Debbie) Grondziak and Donald (Michelle) Romanski Jr.

Visitation Monday, May 7th, 2-9 pm, with a 7 pm scripture service, at the HACKETT-METCALF FUNERAL HOME, 2640 Monroe St., Dearborn (313-274-4000). Rose's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 8th, 10:30 AM (in state 10 AM) at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 4855 Parker St., Dearborn Heights. A procession to St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Hts., will follow Mass.

Memorial tributes suggested to St. Albert the Great Church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington.
