IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Roy Semen
Milewsky
October 22, 1961 – August 20, 2020
Roy Semen Milewsky was born on October 22, 1961 in Detroit, MI. Roy passed away at his residence in Westland, MI on August 20, 2020 at the age of 58.
Roy worked maintenance with Garden City Public Schools for over 30 years. When he was not at work, Roy enjoyed all things outdoors. He spent a lot of time fishing, whether on his boat or finding a quiet spot at Kensington Lake. When he was not fishing, he was hunting. He spent as much time as he could on his two properties; one in northern Michigan, that he shared with his brother, and the other in a quiet little town in Illinois that he shared with his better half. He enjoyed the simple life, having an ice-cold beer, watching football and being around family. Roy was a man of all trades. He was willing to help anyone with anything at any time. He will be greatly missed by many family & friends.
Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Anna Milewsky, sister, Diane Milewsky, and brother in law Kim Emery. He leaves behind his better half of 17 years Penny Edens, daughters, Stacie Milewsky (Nick Sharoian), Pam Milewsky (Sean McClain), and Amber Hinken (Ben). He is also survived by his sister Lily Milewsky, sister Tamara Zajac (Ed), brother Walter Milewsky (Carol), Rose Emery, his two grandchildren, Myles and Connor Hinken, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be having a celebration of life on Friday, August 28, 2020 starting at 2pm at the North Martindale picnic shelter in Kensington Metroparks, 4570 Huron River Pkwy, Milford, MI, 48381. There is a park entrance fee of $10.00. Light refreshments will be provided.
