Loving mom of Christina (Jon Hansen) Canfield and Michael Adamoli. Cherished grandma of Jonathan Canfield Hansen and Sarah Canfield Hansen. Dear sister of Sue Canfield. Loving aunt of John Quiroz. Ruth proudly served the City of Dearborn Heights on the school board, as a councilwoman, and former mayor. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Monday 3pm - 8pm. Funeral service Tuesday at 11:30am at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or Hospice of Lansing.
