Ruth Ann (Weltyk) Cavender peacefully passed away August 2nd, 2021 at the age of 84 at Angela Hospice.

Ruth was born in Detroit to Steve and Mary Weltyk. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Cavender.  She is survived by her brother, Bill (Donna), brother-in-law Kenneth (Rose) and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth loved to travel and especially enjoyed a trip to Japan.  She and Tom spent time in Naples, Florida and Lake Skegemog in northern Michigan.

Her dear friends Helen Woytowich and Jim and JoAnne Struble were a comfort to Ruthie during her illness and she was truly grateful to them.

Also missing her so much is Ruthie's adored 14-year old black Labrador retriever, Charlie.
