Sandy Adams passed away peacefully on May 4, 2017. This star was born Sandra Jean Walker on April 25, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to Albert A. Walker Sr. and Lottie Virginia Shahnovitz. Sandy spent her entire life in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, where she learned how to dance.

Sandy was a graduate of Haston High School but caught the show business bug and spent her life teaching dancing. Anyone who stepped onto her stage learned ballet, tap, jazz, Spanish, and Hawaiian dancing. Sandy was recently awarded a Lifetime Membership from the Cecchetti Council of America ballet organization. Sandy's spotlight shined throughout the community where you could catch her act at many nursing homes and local festivals. She also had a passion for teaching dance to disabled children.

Sandy was a singular sensation whose motto was "The Show Must Go On". Continuing the performance in her absence are her daughters Robin Adams (Tom Caltrider) and Renee Adams; grandchildren Sydney and Hudson Adams-Farley; brother Albert A. Walker Jr. (Beth Moore), and sister Suzette (Walker) Zwarun.

Please join us for her final curtain call. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 13 at Santeiu Funeral Home in Garden City, MI at 1139 Inkster Road. Visitation is from 2-6 pm with a short service at 6 pm. A Celebration of Sandy's Life will follow immediately afterwards at the Moose Lodge 1795 at 27225 West Warren, Dearborn Heights MI.
