Beloved wife of the late Richard Kilpatrick for 36 years. Loving mother of Kathy (Gary) Derderian, Michele Brown, Paul Murphy, Fran (Andy) Stein, Tim Murphy, and Brenda McGrath. Cherished grandmother of Brian (Emily) Summerfield, Tina (Jeff) Weller, Michael Bandy, Joseph (Kristen) Bandy, Carrie (Nick) Costa, Bryan (Kayla) Derderian, T.J. Murphy, Chelsea (Joe) Parks, Claire Murphy, Jack Murphy, Hilary Stein, Isaac Rosow, Ryan Kilpatrick, Ali Abdalla, and McKayla McGrath. Adored great grandmother of 19. Dear sister of Betty (Ron) Patterson.

Shirley "Bama" Kilpatrick passed away peacefully on March 7, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family. She was an artist, a potter, a dancer, a reader, a teacher, a traveler, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved her pets like they were her own children -her late Dachshunds, Misty Lou & Paddy May and her beloved cat, Molly could always be found snuggling on her lap.

Visitation Tuesday 2-8pm with 7pm Memory Sharing Service. Funeral Service Wednesday 10am at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Road, Garden City (Between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). Burial to follow services at Grand Lawn Cemetery.
