Age 78

Stanley died after suffering many years with Alzheimer's disease. He was born in Kalkaska, Michigan on May 18, 1941 and spent his childhood and graduated from high school in Harbor Springs in 1960. Stanley spent his adult life in California, joining the Army National Guard receiving a sharpshooter award while enlisted. Later he moved to Tacoma, Washington. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and became an avid bowler, bowling 2 300 games, winning trophies and a watch. In 2010 he moved to Florida to live with his sister. In December 2018 health reasons brought the family to Michigan, residing in South Lyon.

Stanley is survived by his sister, Dorothy (Hassan) Restum of South Lyon, his brother, Samuel (Ilene) of W. Palm Beach, Florida, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He will be buried at the Headley family site at the Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska, Michigan.
