Smolinski, Stanley A. (88) Died peacefully March 21.

Devoted father of Kristine (Carl) Dezsi. Proud grandfather of Simon (Sara), Markus (fiancée Samantha), and Carla. Loving great-grandfather to Damien, Jackson and Harrison. Preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Lottie Smolinski, wife Louise, and siblings; Stella (Jordan) Norbert, Raymond and Sr. Mary Laurene. Loving brother to Chester, Walter (the late Dolores), Leonard (Florence) Smolinski. Brother in law of Vernon Jordan. Uncle and Great uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Stan was a WWII veteran, member of Half Century Athletic Club and St. Hyacinth Usher's Club, where he faithfully served his church. He lived life to the fullest with a heart of gold for everyone who knew him. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation Monday, March 25 from 2-8pm. Rosary at 6pm at John N. Santeiu & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster, Garden City 48135. In state Tuesday 9:30am until the Mass of the Resurrection March 26 at 10am at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 3151 Farnsworth, Detroit 48211. Burial and Interment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 17100 Van Dyke, Detroit 48234.
