Stella, 81 of Bonita Springs, FL passed away Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Vitas Hospice. Formerly of Staten Island, NY she had been a resident of Bonita Springs since 2001. Stella was born August 18, 1941 in Dearborn Heights, MI a daughter of the late Peter V. and Lottie (Wisniowski) Pultorak.

A graduate of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Stella earned her undergraduate degree in education with a minor in mathematics. She spent 20 years as a civilian with the United States Army, retiring as an Administrative Officer.

Stella was an avid reader who also liked working on puzzles and playing games. She enjoyed boating with her husband and was a member of the Naples Sail and Power Squadron.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 60 years, James W. "Jim" Lawson; loving daughters, Leslie Lawson of Miami, FL, Laura (Theodore) Flynn of St. Joseph, MI; and cherished grandchildren, Hayden and Emie Flynn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Marion Pultorak, Sherry White and Joann Pultorak.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 8th, 12pm - 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 3:00 pm at John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 Inkster Rd., Garden City, MI 48135 followed by a banquet dinner from 4:30pm-8pm at Antonio's Cucina Italiana, 26356 Ford Rd., Dearborn Hts, MI 48127.
