Age 76 of Dearborn Heights, Michigan peacefully entered into eternal rest with Jesus at his home on Friday, May 15, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Christine Brissman for 51 years, loving father to the late Kevin Brissman, Brian (Evelyn) Brissman, and Aimee (Steve) Conn, dearest grandfather to Caden, Caleb, Natalie, and Andrew. Steve was preceded in death by all 5 of his siblings - Joseph Brissman, Elsie Bauer, Peter Brissman, Albert Brissman, and Katherine Fox.

Steve was born on October 30, 1943. He grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and graduated from Fordson High School in 1962. He retired in 2010 after a 45-year career as a Communications Installer for Nokia (formerly Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies) where he was known for his attention to detail and dedication. His strong character and admirable work ethic also allowed him to be elected as a Union Representative for CWA Local #4090. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, woodworking and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friennds.

Memorial visitation, Wednesday, June 3, 2020, 9:30am until a 10am Mass at Church of the Divine Child, 1055 N. Silvery Lane at Wilson in Dearborn (South of Ford Road at Silvery Lane).

Please note that masks (unable to be provided) and social distancing are required for all individuals entering the church building. Unfortunately, due to current restrictions, the cemetery procession has to be limited to immediate family at this time.
