Age 84

Teresa died peacefully at home on January 4, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.  She was the middle child of seven children born to Helen and William Montgomery Smith. Originally from Kentucky she moved to Michigan at an early age and lived there the rest of her life. She started her family when she was very young and had six girls: Lynda Forte, Marilyn Adams, Sandy (Dan) Lingeman, Coleen (Mike) Novo, Christine (Glenn) Smith and Edie (Randy) Forrestall.  She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was particularly close with her granddaughter, Alyssa, who adored and cared for her until the end.  Deepest appreciation to her daughters Edie and Christine for all the special care they gave her throughout her life.   Teresa left us with a keen appreciation and gratitude for all the blessings of a large and close family.
