Gentinne, Thelma Della. Age 97 ½ of Dearborn. Beloved wife of the late Charles H. Gentinne and the late Reverend Edward DeHaven. Matriarch of the Gentinne family. Dear mother of Juliana May (Charles) Greening, Carol Marie (late Robert C.) Brock, Alan Charles (Sheri), Laurie Beth and the late 1st Lieutenant Thomas Henry. Thelma is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She volunteered at The Henry Ford for many years. Among her many donations she handcrafted over 1000 baby quilts which were donated to Mott Children's Hospital. She also knitted mittens and scarves for the homeless and dishcloths for the needy. Gathering at First Presbyterian Church, 600 N. Brady Dearborn, Friday 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions to the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of her son would be appreciated. www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
