On Saturday, September 4th 2021, Theodore Gordon Kletzka, loving husband, brother-in-law and uncle, passed away at the age of 77.

Theodore "Gordy" was born at Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI to Theodore and Rose (Shanahan) Kletzka. He grew up in Dearborn, MI, attending Dearborn Public Schools. Upon his high school graduation from Dearborn High in 1961, he joined the United States Air Force. He left the service in 1963 due to a family hardship, with the passing of his Mother, Rose. Gordy, helped his father, Ted, run the family hardware business for several years. Later, Gordy, met his wife JoAnn Miller at Western Electric Telephone Company, where he was a machine operator. They were married in June of 1967. They have no children. In 1966 Gordy "Ted", began working at Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, in the division of Ford Motor Credit in the IT department, and retired in 1998.

He loved his wife JoAnn deeply. He was an avid member of the American Legion Post #364, in Dearborn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, time spent at the cabin, his family and nostalgic Doo-Wop music of the 1950's and 60's.

Gordy was preceded in death by his Mother, Rose, and his father, Ted. He is survived by his wife JoAnn, his sister-in-law Mary, brother-in-law Rob (Kathy), sister-in-law Marsha and his niece Cheryl (Jeff).

A Memorial service will be held on September, 14, 2021 at Hackett-Metcalf funeral home on Monroe Boulevard, Dearborn, MI at 2:00pm - 5:00pm with a funeral service beginning at 5:00pm followed by Military Honors.
