IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas A.
Lupinski
August 27, 1961 – December 20, 2022
Age 61
Tom was born in New Jersey, but moved to Washington state at a very young age. As a member of the Black Watch Drum & Bugle Corps during high school, he played the tri-tom drums for competitions and marched in President Carter's inaugural parade. Tom married and started a family, all while earning his BSEE with honors.
The family moved to Michigan where he worked at several companies including TRW and UTA before joining Ford Motor Company in 2014. He valued those he worked with and remained friends with many throughout the years.
A passionate photographer and avid camper, Tom traveled all over Michigan, and occasionally out-of-state, to enjoy the scenery and document his excursions. He was a drummer in a band for many years, and a member of the National Rifle Association. Tom enjoyed working on his truck and Jeep, and shooting target practice at the gun range with Michael, and shared his love of photography and computer projects with Ryan. Though Tom and Liz divorced, they continued to share walks, laughs, vacations, and all the ups and downs of life.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends, and we will miss seeing the pictures and videos of his life adventures.
Preceded in death by his father, Arthur and mother, Helen; beloved father of Ryan (fiancée Alexandra) and Michael; best friend of ex-wife Liz (Valentine); brother of Steve, Nanci, Susan, and Jeff (Kit); and uncle to Andrew, Kurt, and James.
