Thomas E. Stechow. Age 72. Thomas passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. Beloved husband of Dianna Stechow. Loving father of Carole Derrington. Cherished grandpa of Garrett and Sam. Dearest brother of Helen Rupp. Dear uncle of Thomas Rupp.

Thomas was very involved as a Cub Master and an Assistant Scout Master for the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts of Dearborn. He also held the position of Eagle Scout Advancement Advisor. Thomas also spent a great deal of time volunteering for the Edsel Ford High School Marching Band. He was the assistant chef of his daughter, Carole.Together, they made the meals for the band during their band camp and for other events. When Thomas wasn't in the kitchen preparing the meals, he could be found helping the band with their equipment set up on the field for their half time shows.Thomas was a designer for the automotive industry for over fifty years. He worked as a Powertrain Designer for both Ford Motor Company and Roush.

A Memorial Service is being planned for a later date.
