Age 56

Beloved husband of Kim for 32 years. Loving father of Jessica and Jeffrey. Brother of Bret (Holly) and  Richard (Denise). Brother-in-law of Victor (Melody) Chimka, Walter (Rebecca) Chimka and the late Joseph Chimka Jr. Dear uncle of Madeline (Dan), Andrew, Nathan, Silas, Paul, Adam and Kassim. He will be missed by his K9 fur babies, Leo & Sparti.

Visitation Wednesday 2 pm - 8 pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In state Thursday 11 am until the 12 noon Funeral Service at First Assembly of Dearborn Heights.

Todd Abdullah: The Legendary Todd-Father

The world became a more enjoyable and memorable place when Todd Abdullah entered the world on August 9th, 1963. Born to Richard & Virginia Abdullah, Todd grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, his forever home, where he eventually started his own family with the love of his life, Kim Chimka Abdullah. He was the loud and loved middle brother to Bret and Richard.

Todd loved and lived for his family, especially his kids, Jessica and Jeffrey and fur-babies Dyoji (D-O-G), Axle, Sparti and Leo. Over time, he became friends with Jessica & Jeffrey's friends, who turned to Todd for both a laugh, advice, and most commonly described him as "the coolest guy they've ever met." He loved to travel and spend countless hours laughing with his niece Madeline, nephews Andrew, Silas, Paul, Nathan, Adam, and Kassim, and ALL of his children's friends, you know who you are and he loved you so very much!

His true love and best friend was Kim, but his other true love was the Detroit Lions! We all know if they were ever to go to the Super Bowl, his nephew Kassim would make sure his Uncle Todd made it there! Todd greeted all with a smile and a giggle and everyone loved him! Todd lit up every room  he walked into and there was never a dull moment when he was around. Todd made a friend everywhere he went. He was a proud member of Fordson High School's Class of 81' and HE LOVED PAISANO'S PIZZA. Todd left a legacy of love and laughter that is one of a kind and will never be forgotten.
