Vincent J. Fordell Age 82
Born November 21, 1932 to Joseph and Teresa Fordell. Passed away February 4, 2015 in Henderson, NV.
Vincent married Carolyn A. Austin, June 23, 1951 and had 3 children; Jeffrey M. (Kathy), Pamela S. (Paul) Tatro and James V. (Lauren). He is a loving grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of 4.
He graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn, MI in 1950 then went on to get an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University.
After serving in the Navy Reserve, he worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Comnpany/ AT&tT for 35 years and retired in 1990.
In April of 1956 he and Carolyn moved to Garden City, MI and resided there for 35 years. He was the Mayor of Garden City from 1979 to 1989.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 1:30pm with a Memorial Service at 3pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City (Between Ford Rd. & Cherry Hill).
