IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Violet Ivanov
Kyryluk
November 20, 1945 – July 28, 2021
Violet Ivanov Kyryluk
was born on November 20, 1945, in a refugee camp in Neumünster, Germany. By God's Grace, her family immigrated to the United States through Ellis Island in June of 1950. By studying and working hard, she went from a kindergarten drop out to a teacher with a Master's degree. She leaves behind many grieving relatives in Medvenka, Russia. She also leaves behind her husband, Nick, her children, Marcus (Jennifer) and Larissa (Michael) Fleishman, grandsons, Zane and Titus, two sisters, Luba Louise Ivanov and Vera Ivanov, nieces, Tami Oden, Heather Witter, Alexandra Benatovich, and Anika Benatovich, great nephews and great nieces, James, Abigail, Benjamin, Eliza, Evan, Deborah, and Cody, and great great niece, Lilah.
She loved knitting, sewing, and all kinds of crafts, even basket making, traveling and visiting the relatives with her traveling buddy, Luba. She loved teaching about the past by reenacting with Larissa and volunteering at Greenfield Village. She was a faithful servant playing the piano in church since she was a teenager. She will be missed beyond words, but we will see her again one day. Her strength, faith, and love, even in her last days, was a powerful example to all of us that will never be forgotten.
"Thank everyone for their prayers, love, and concern. Your prayers have been answered. I'm healed and gone home."
