Beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, Virginia Grissom, nicknamed 'Ginger' went home to be with her Lord and Saviour at 69 years of age, Tuesday morning, January 23, 2024 at Angela Hospice in Livonia. Ginger experienced the gentle, kind, and very attentive care from the nursing staff, her sister-in-law, Sherrie Webb, and loving attention from her remaining family, and life-long friends, Toni and Judy.

Born with a love to laugh and an independent spirit to Herman and Thelma Webb. Ginger graduated from Garden City East High School in 1972. From there, she served a short stint in the U.S. Army. After working at a few different jobs, Ginger found her calling in Certified Nursing Assistant Care with in-home caregiving where she accepted some of the most difficult cases. Her clients greatly relied on her compassionate gentle care and loved to talk with her. Ginger and her son, Christopher were always by each other's side. She also cared for her mother, Thelma Webb for several years until she passed. All the people she cared for and their families are forever grateful!

Her love for the Lord and the Bible uplifted and guided her through life and comforted her through to the end.

Ginger will be greatly missed and is survived by her son, Christopher Grissom. Siblings: Dennis (Kim) Webb, Doreen (Jeff) Crockett, Bryan (Sherrie) Webb, Karen Fritts, Kevin Webb, and the late Raymond (Patricia) Webb. Nephews: Jake, Brad (Marlene), Marshall, Sean, Mark, David, Joshua, Andrew, and Milan. Nieces: Stephanie, Sarah, Monica, and Patty. Great-nieces: Aria and Ava.

Visitation, Saturday 10:30am until the 12pm Funeral Service at the John N. Santeiu & Son, Inc, 1139 N. Inkster Road, Garden City (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Angela Hospice .
