Age 97.

Beloved husband of the late Betty J. for 63 wonderful years. Loving father of Andrew (Lisa), Matthew (Raz), Jennifer (David) Gartha, and Julie (Scott) VanderLaan. Cherished grandfather of Lauren (Kyle) Bohm, Jonathon Gartha, Erich (Kelly) Heise, Aaron Gartha, Kayla VanderLaan, and Anna VanderLaan. Great-grandfather of Lincoln, Audrey, Josie, and Franny. Brother of Esther Hollan. He will be deeply missed and loved by family friends.

Visitation Friday 2-8pm at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, Garden City, 1139 N. Inkster Road (between Ford Road and Cherry Hill). In state Saturday 10am until the 11am Funeral Service at Guardian Lutheran, 24544 Cherry Hill, Dearborn (3 blocks west of Telegraph).
