Walter J. Micallef, age 88, passed away on November 14, 2022. He lived a beautiful, loving, and giving life devoted to his faith and family. Preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Donna, he will be missed by his five children: Dave (Madelyn), Tim, Joe (Mark), Mary Beth (Bob), Maureen (Chip) and dearest Sharon. He was "Nanu" to 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Thank you for teaching us the meaning of unconditional love, peaceful coexistence, and above all... family. You were our light in the darkness and your legacy lives on.

Visitation Thursday, 2 pm – 7 pm with a 7 pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In state Friday 9:30 am until the 10 am Funeral Service at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Garden City.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Susan G. Komen Foundation.
