On 7/31/21, Wanda Virginia Belesky Leabu, an independent, faith-filled 90 year old, passed away peacefully and quickly.

She is preceded to heaven by her husband of 60 years, Virgil Leabu, and her eldest daughter, Susan.  She will be missed by daughters, Katherine Hoen and Andrea Gallucci; siblings, Joe Belesky and Catherine Belesky, and her grandchildren Mary Hoen, Mia Gallucci, Leo Gallucci, Lee Hoen and Corryn Hoen.

Wanda enjoyed singing, Bingo, casino trips, exercise, and socializing with her dear friends at Ashford Court. She was an early adopter of herbal practices and clean eating. She credited these modalities to eliminate RA pain & avoid other chronic diseases.

Her remains will be interred at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Dearborn Hts., MI.

A memorial mass will be held at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church in Westland MI - date to be determined.

Memorials honoring Wanda's life can be sent to the Disable American Veterans or to the National Shrine of St. Jude in Chicago, IL.
