Bill passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of the late Delphine (Kopas) and Ruth Krashovetz (Cabanaw). He was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Mary and his sisters Mary Anne and Rosalie. William is survived by his brother Michael (Alice) and sister Marcia (Hartmut) Ripkin of Germany. Loving stepfather of Ruth's children, Charles (Charlotte) Cabanaw, Nan (John) Young and Cindy Morgan. Wonderful grandfather of John and Amy, Ryan and Darren, and Madison. He was a good uncle to 10 nieces and nephews.

Bill retired from Ford Motor Company after 29 years of service. He enjoyed most of his retirement years in sunny Arizona with his wife Ruth. After the passing of Ruth in 2013, bill returned to Michigan and lived happily with is stepson Chuck, daughter-in-law Charlotte, and granddaughter Madison at their home in Garden City. Bill loved to keep busy and stay active. He was fond of being outdoors and loved feeding and watching the birds. He loved watching old Western films, Detroit Tiger games and Red Wing Hockey with Chuck. Bill also enjoyed the lively excitement of going to the Casinos, frequent day trips with Charlotte, lunch dates with Madison and trips to the Cider Mill with Nan and John.

His family and friends will miss Bill dearly. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his big smile and his huge loving heart and his generosity.
