William Rowe "Bill".Age 84.William passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019.Beloved husband of the late Olga Rowe.Loving father of Michael Joseph Rowe and Mark William Rowe.Cherished grandpa of Victoria Rowe, Haley Rowe, Jessica Rowe, Tyler Rowe and Trevor Rowe.Dearest brother of Joe Rowe, Jr., Theodore Rowe, Thelma Rowe and Elizabeth Rowe. Dear son of the late Joseph and Gladys Rowe.Bill was born in the coal mining country in Virginia.After graduating from high school Bill moved to Washington, D.C. and worked as a finger print technician for the FBI.He met his wife, Olga Tanchen, in Dearborn while they were both working for DT&I, a railroad company.They later married in February of 1960 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Dearborn.Bill was a hard worker and finished his bachelor's degree at the University of Detroit while working full-time at DT&I.Bill was an avid card player.He enjoyed socializing at the senior center.There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Hackett-Metcalf Funeral Home at 2:00 PM until the time of the Scripture Service at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue until 8:00 PM following the Scripture Service.
