William A. Sheahan; Age 85, went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2013, after a short battle with lung cancer.

Beloved husband of the late Agnes C. for 51 years. Dear father of Delia (Ron) Gipson, Kelly (Dave) Hill, William J., Erin M., Stephen (Lori) and Jamie (Aaron) McHaney. Grandfather of Kelly, Spencer, Emily, Eric, Melissa, Connor, Daniel, Bradley (Kayla & Landon), Brittney, Dylan, Zachary, Matthew, Hannah, Garrett and Gillian. Brother of John. United States Navy Veteran, serving from 1948 to 1952. A member of the American Legion Garden City Post 396.

Visitation Saturday 2-8PM at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home, 1139 N. Inkster Rd., Garden City(between Ford Rd. and Cherry Hill). In state Sunday 3-7PM at the Bower-Rose Funeral Home, 222 N. Main St., Marine City, Michigan. The funeral service is Monday, Jan. 6, at Holy Cross Church, 610 South Water Street in Marine City. Viewing at the church at 11 AM and Mass at Noon.
