Age 88
Beloved husband of Anne for 66 years. Loving father of Steven (Pat), Kathleen (Matt) Davis and James (Debbie). Dear grandfather of Gregory Wilson, Daniel (Emily) Wilson, Lauren Brunette, Melissa Wilson and Leslie (Jamie) Ruggles. Cherished friend to many through his church, civic organizations and the community in which he served.
William was born and raised in Detroit and worked for Detroit Edison for 38 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a long time and active member of St. Raphael's School and Church (now St. Thomas the Apostle Parish) in Garden City and a long-time member and officer with the local Knights of Columbus.
A private family memorial and interment will be held in July at the Great Lakes National Cemetery.
